The UW-Stout School of Education Assessment System is designed so that candidate progress in our undergraduate and graduate programs is reviewed at various points and data is gathered from multiple assessment measures.
Undergraduate Benchmark Information
Benchmark I is acceptance into the School of Education teacher education program and pre-student teaching (field experience).
Benchmark II is admission into student teaching (clinical practice). Benchmark II Application
Benchmark III is the final review at program completion including completion of your portfolio.

Graduate Benchmark Information
Benchmark I is acceptance into the graduate program. All programs require a minimum GPA of 2.75, a Statement of Goals or Purpose, Review by the Graduate School, and Review by the Program Director. Benchmark II requires, at a minimum, a review of progress. Benchmark III (or Benchmark IV for School Psychology) is the final program completion review including completion of your program plan and research project.
