The Cedar Café
The Cedar Café is the University of Wisconsin-Stout’s live-action food production facility where students plan, develop, and execute foodservice skills and leadership techniques in foodservice operations. Previously known as Corner III, this laboratory has served an integral role in the success of the School of Hospitality Leadership
Golf Lab
The Golf Lab is our dedicated space for golf enterprise management students. Designed for the needs of our students, this flexible lab space serves as the hub for classes offered throughout the program and is designed to educate, demonstrate and illustrate core principles of our golf program curriculum.
Rendezvous
The Rendezvous is a food service laboratory where students can apply the theoretical components of courses in labor relations, purchasing, food and beverage cost control, and food service management. The facility serves as a full-service restaurant and that emphasizes fine dining, fine cuisine, and hosts one of our most popular courses, Wines and Spirits.
Swing Lab
The Swing Lab is our hands-on golf environment where students learn the fundamentals of the game of golf and understanding all aspects of the golf swing. From an advanced golf simulator to the necessary equipment needed for gripping clubs, the swing lab provides an essential hands-on environment for students who will manage and lead the business of golf after graduation.
Weidner Center for Residential Property Management
The Weidner Center for Residential Property Management is our state-of-the-art learning facility designed to take advantage of the most contemporary technology and teaching philosophies available. A result from the generosity of Dean Weidner, the center provides a one-of-a-kind interactive learning environment alongside the classroom space to provide students an opportunity to learn, both in and out of the classroom environment
