The use of the words “co-op” or "internship" to describe opportunities posted on Handshake, does not imply that the position has been approved for academic credit at UW-Stout. Students seeking credit bearing work experiences are encouraged to review the Cooperative Education and Internship Program framework or speak with their Program Director and/or Faculty Advisor about program specific requirements for obtaining credit through work experience.
University of Wisconsin-Stout Career Services maintains Handshake as a service to Stout students and alumni. Employers and opportunities found on Handshake are listed due to their potential interest to the Stout community. These should not be considered an endorsement by Career Services or the University. Handshake vets all employers and opportunities are reviewed by Career Services staff. Students should always use Safety in their Search when viewing postings in Handshake or other job sites.
