Rave Guardian Safety App
Rave Guardian is a personal safety app for when you're walking or biking alone or in a group. You can notify family and friends of your whereabouts, expected times of arrival, or contact 911 if you need. Download Rave Guardian for free at the Apple Store or Google Play.
Bike Friendly University
UW-Stout is a Bike Friendly University! In 2016 and again in 2020, we earned this bronze level designation from the League of American Bicyclists. The BFU designation recognizes universities that promote and provide a more bikeable campus for students, staff, and visitors.
StoutBikes Bike Share Program
Need A Bike? We Got You Covered! With StoutBikes, students can rent a bike for a semester, year, summer, or weekend for a very low cost. All bike rentals include lights, locks, and helmets for your safety and the safety of your bike. Rentals are offered through Stout Adventures.

Bike Parking
We have a number of bike parking options for you! Bike racks all over campus allow students and employees to conveniently park their bikes outside of campus buildings. And our bike shelters and lockers are great place to park during rain and snow.
Bike Locker Rental
Students living in the residence halls can rent bike lockers through University Housing to park their bike in the lockers located at CKTO residence hall. Contact University Housing for more information.
The Sustainability Office has a small number of lockers located at Jarvis Hall, primarily for off-campus students and employees who commute to campus by bike. Students living in residence halls may be able to rent a locker here depending on availability. Fill out our rental request form to see if a locker is available to you.
Bike Fix Stations
Need to pump up your tires or adjust your seat? We have bike fix stations located all around campus and help bikers prop up their bikes and give them a quick fix.
These fix stations come equipped with all the tools you'll need to get your bike back into riding condition. They also feature air pumps with free air.
