Krings receives September University Staff Appreciation Award

Analyst in Learning and Information Technology cited for attitude, expertise

Sue Krings has received the University Staff Employee Appreciation Award for September at University of Wisconsin-Stout.

Krings, of Durand, is the administration and business analyst in Learning and Information Technology. She has worked at UW-Stout since 1996 and is a graduate of the Chippewa Valley Technical College program for administrative assistant, information processing.

Sue Krings received the University Staff Employee Appreciation Award for September at UW-Stout from interim Chancellor Patrick Guilfoile.Krings’ nomination stated: “Sue has a go get ’em attitude, and she gets things done. She is always available for questions or to sit and work through something if workflows aren't working right. She is an ImageStout and Perceptive (programs) guru and is awesome at workflows and helping set up new projects. Sue has helped our office through a number of processes we didn’t think would be possible. She is also a part of the process improvement group and helps various people determine how to learn their processes using ImageStout or other tools. Sue is amazing. She has a great attitude and is so helpful. Sue emits what true customer service is.”

Interim Chancellor Patrick Guilfoile presents each winner with a certificate of recognition, a UW-Stout travel mug and a UW-Stout blanket.

Students, faculty and staff may nominate a university staff member who demonstrates a commitment to excellence and the university community.

The award, in its 14th year, was established by the Chancellor’s Office and is co-sponsored by the University Staff Senate.
