Stephanie LaBair is a lecturer of design foundations - helping students learn the basics of digital design while introducing and developing skills in design programs.

Stephanie went to school at LaRoche University and graduated magne cum laude with a degree in Visual Communication & Design. During her time at LaRoche she also studied abroad and completed an internship while in London. After graduation Stephanie worked as a designer and later design and marketing manager primarily for non-profits, including the Pittsburgh Zoo, University of Wisconsin-Stout, and Pablo Center at the Confluence. She has also worked for Alcoa and Holiday Vacations. Additionally, she continues to do extensive freelance work. Stephanie received her M.S. in Integrated Marketing and Communication from West Virginia University.

Stephanie’s blend of marketing and design expertise is a large influence on her teaching philosophy which focuses on storytelling and design-thinking to visually communicate compelling outcomes.
