Fall commencement will be held for 526 graduates on Saturday, Dec. 16, at UW-Stout.
A total of 440 undergraduate and 86 Graduate Studies students will receive degrees.
Two ceremonies will be held in Johnson Fieldhouse:
The ceremonies also can be seen via livestream on the UW-Stout commencement website and at the Memorial Student Center.
Provost Glendalí Rodríguez will host the ceremonies. Chancellor Katherine Frank will provide remarks to the graduates and confer degrees.
Two graduates and an alum also will speak:
- 10 a.m., Dayton Feldt, of Beloit, who is receiving a Bachelor of Science degree in video production; Joshua Carr, a Minneapolis native who graduated in 2017 with a degree in construction. He is a project manager for commercial general contractor Kraus-Anderson of Minneapolis.
- 2 p.m., Polly Berendes, of La Crosse, who is receiving a Master of Science in training and human resource development.
The ceremonies will include music by the UW-Stout Symphonic Band and the Jazz Orchestra, directed by Aaron Durst; and the Chamber Choir, Symphonic Singers and Devil Tones Acapella, directed by Jerry Hui.
Students and members of the UW-Stout community can share comments and photos on UW-Stout social media platforms using the hashtag #StoutGrad2023.
Diplomas will be mailed to students four to six weeks after final grades are issued.
