Erin Nierenhausen is the Outreach Program Manager for the National Training Center for Transformational Rehabilitation Leadership (NTCTRL). Erin serves SVRI, in collaboration with the Institute for Community Inclusion at the University of Massachusetts (ICI-UMass Boston) and the Commission on Rehabilitation Counselor Certification (CRCC) to support and develop leaders in the field of vocational rehabilitation. This training program offers opportunities for individuals in the field of VR to develop leadership skills by earning their Certified Rehabilitation Leadership Certificate (CRL) therefore enhancing their individual motivation, morale, and job performance to transform service delivery to their consumers.

For over a decade, Erin has provided training development, curriculum and instructional design, and learning management system support to meet the needs of various federal grant projects, as well as fee-based services. For 18 years, she also served as a Lecturer with the College of Management at the University of Wisconsin-Stout in the subjects of development and organizational leadership. Prior to that, Erin worked for more than 10 years in training and development in the manufacturing environment, where her responsibilities included conducting needs assessments, providing technical writing, developing training curriculum for soft and hard skills, facilitating, and monitoring training delivery and effectiveness. Erin holds a Master of Science degree in Training and Curriculum Design from the University of Wisconsin-Stout and a Bachelor of Science degree in Technical Writing and Political Science from the University of Wisconsin-River Falls. She brings many years of experience developing and facilitating training online and enjoys the constant learning and new challenges that accompany this delivery platform.
