Free Online Mental Health Care for Your Student

YOU@Stout offers round-the-clock support
March 15, 2023

UW-Stout students now have access to increased free, round-the-clock mental health resources through the YOU@Stout web-based, confidential platform. The enhanced online services are available to all students.

YOU@Stout increases mental health services and crisis support services, while also connecting your student to existing campus resources. By logging in with their UW-Stout credentials, they have access to:

  • 24/7 Crisis Line: Call or text at 888-531-2142; or chat with a counselor
  • Teletherapy and telepsychiatry: Clinically informed and culturally responsive support is available during the day, evenings and weekends through Mantra Health. Your student can connect with the teletherapy services directly through the YOU@Stout website or with help from Counseling Center staff who can answer questions or schedule support.  For telepsychiatry services, your student can contact the Counseling Center for a referral.
  • YOU@Stout offers independent goal setting, skill building, assessments, evidence-based content on a variety of topics and links to campus resources.

Questions regarding YOU@Stout can be directed to Student Health Promotions Manager Lisa Raethke raethkel@uwsout.edu.

YOU@Stout is available due to the generosity of federal funding and the State of Wisconsin.
